It’s been a while since my last post. I’ve been meaning to update with several different things, but I just haven’t gotten around to it–it’s been a horrendous month for illness in our family, but thankfully we’re all coming out of it now.

Speaking of illness, the lovely H family had to reschedule their shoot the weekend before last because they all came down with gastro (sadly, I can relate–it’s horrible enough when your toddler has it, let alone dealing with it yourself at the same time!). Anyway, I caught up with them on Sunday, and a gloriously sunny one too. I gushed about it to them at the time, and I will now gush about it to you: they have the most divine backyard. I want one just like it! The main feature is an enormous crab apple tree, which is currently in full bloom, the grass is lush and green (what we have in our backyard couldn’t even pass for grass, let alone green), there’s a fantastic play area for their gorgeous 16 month old girl, and beautiful flowers everywhere!

Um… can I use your backyard as a studio please guys?
