I had a super fun maternity session last weekend. These guys were my very first official clients, last February. Without their trust and support, I wouldn’t have met and photographed so many amazing families and learnt everything I’ve learnt this past year.
Their little boy is just a month younger than my son, and he’s going to be a big brother in less than two months!
Now, I just have to take a moment to gush about three things… people.
- The incredible little Reuben, who not only let me photograph him without running away or pulling a silly face (like my son does these days), but actually voluntarily put himself in the photos! I think there are many toddlers the world over who could take a few lessons from his book!
- Helen, who pre-warned me about certain parts of her body she didn’t want photographed, and here she is looking radiantly amazing! How many mothers can say their skin looks like that on their second pregnancy?! Not a stretch mark in sight!
- Darren, who not only helped me with my backdrop but was a total legend about getting his shirt off for some amazing photos with Helen (I didn’t want to push it by posting any of those ones).
It was SUCH a great session, and a good time to remind everyone how wonderful and unforgettable maternity sessions can be. Forget your droopy bits and your aches and pains. Let me show you how beautiful and amazing you really are. You will never regret it.
