Hello, I’m Katie. I'm a photographer based in Canberra, ACT. I'm also a mum and a wife, a teacher, a designer, a lover of people and stories and life and good coffee. I am crazily passionate about photography and it's amazing potential to enrich our lives.
My portrait photography business, Heartstory, specialises in family photography, which includes maternity, newborn, baby and child photography. I also takes a limited number of wedding photography bookings each season. Heartstory offers a range of fine art prints and products, including framed canvas prints, metal prints, fine art books, and of course digital collections. Clair - Katie, I can’t thank you enough for these photos. You have captured moments in time that we will always treasure. Not only will we enjoy these images of our little family when we are old and our memories need a little jogging, but our children and their children will have these reminders of how things were and can be – simple,natural and wonderful.
The kids saw the photos and smiled as they recognised themselves, then they looked puzzled and asked “where’s Katie?”.
We all enjoyed the experience immensely and will certainly be back in a couple of years – that is if you haven’t been snapped up by a London or New York agency!
My advise to anyone considering having their family photographs taken by Katie is: DON”T WAIT, DO IT NOW! You will not regret it
