Here is another of my gorgeous Love Autumn Mini Session families. Felix was SO much fun! When I met him for the first time, he came right up to me and gave me a good eyeballing from about 5cm away – LOVED IT! He obviously decided I was ok, because he was extremely co-operative with me and oh so cute throughout the session.
A lot of photographers shy away from photographing kids at this age (2-4 years old), but I really love it – there is just so much gorgeous energy and toddlers are so, so funny! I also really believe that parents should be absolutely sure to have this amazing transitional stage of your child’s life captured. It’s over so quickly and you look back and wonder where on earth your little baby went with his or her hilarious mispronunciations and quirky little habits. It was just a couple of days ago that my husband and I set up Toby’s big boy’s bed, and I found myself suddenly and unexpectedly in tears as I realised that yet another stage was over forever. I can hardly remember what my boy was like a year ago, let alone as a newborn, and he’s going to be turning three in less than two months.
Please don’t let time slip away without having these moments captured.
