Hello, I’m Katie. I'm a photographer based in Canberra, ACT. I'm also a mum and a wife, a teacher, a designer, a lover of people and stories and life and good coffee. I am crazily passionate about photography and it's amazing potential to enrich our lives.
My portrait photography business, Heartstory, specialises in family photography, which includes maternity, newborn, baby and child photography. I also takes a limited number of wedding photography bookings each season. Julianna - Yes, this shoot looks really good. It’s not easy to make both the pregnant woman and the already existing child look equally relevant as children have such a firm presence of their own. You’ve blended them all beautifully. I do like the second photo with Miss J slightly out of focus and the entwined hands beautifully clear. Very sensitive. And you can see from the two photos how much she resembles her mother even with all her curls.
