Sessions in Canberra and surrounds are for families and couples of all ages. We offer:

Outdoors sessions for families and couples, including extended family sessions, and don’t forget your pets!
River & adventure sessions, for families of all ages.
‘At your property’ sessions, for rural families on properties in and around Canberra.
‘At home’ sessions, for families who want something super personal.
Extended family sessions, for special occasions or just because

We also accept bookings in other parts of Australia. Please get in touch 6-12 months in advance (travel fees apply).

Outdoors sessions

These sessions are our most popular and most flexible. They are available early morning and late afternoon all year round (times will vary with the seasons and daylight savings). Sessions are available on some weekdays and most weekends, however please book well in advance if you require a weekend spot, especially during the peak seasons of autumn and spring.

We choose locations that suit your family (ages and interests), the season, the time of day, whether you have a dog, and any special requests.

We always aim to embrace the season and the beautiful scenery Canberra has on offer. We use our locations in an artistic way, and we are always looking for the best light.

Adventure & RivEr sessions

Adventure sessions are for adventurers! Canberra is home to beautiful rivers, mountain ranges and close to the snow in winter. If posing in a field or a forest doesn’t sit quite right with you, this kind of session might be right up your alley. Expect to get messy!

'At your property' & RURAL sessions

Photographing on farms and rural properties is a big passion of ours. Please note that these sessions need to be booked well in advance because we may need to block out an entire afternoon or morning, and allow extra time for travel.

'At HOME' sessions

At home sessions have that personal touch and make for intimate, creative images. They are for families who have a special connection with their home and are happy with a documentary style approach to their family photos.

Pets are part of your family! We always encourage bringing your dogs along to outdoors sessions, but if you have other pets you want to feature in your session, you might like to consider a session at your home or rural property. We’re also fans of horses, cows, cats, birds, goats and all animals!

extended family sessions

Extended family sessions (sometimes called multi-generation or generational sessions) are a big favourite of ours. Imagine bringing the whole family together; grandparents, siblings, cousins etc and capturing everyone in one space! It’s a big effort but always worth it. If your group is bigger than 8, we always recommend an outdoors session.
